Patryk Stanczak
Founder & CEO
Patryk Stanczak is a Polish immigrant who grew up in Chicago’s Elmwood Park neighborhood. Driven by duty and discipline, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2012 to 2017, rising to Sergeant and working extensively with electronics and radar systems. After his service he completed Microsoft’s MSSA program, then became Chicago City Leader for Bunker Labs, supporting veteran entrepreneurs. He also serves Chicagoland as an active paramedic, firefighter, and hazmat technician. That passion led him to found Geek Heros — built on the belief that every business deserves the same clarity, craftsmanship, and strategic thinking the military demands.

Mike Upton
Co-Founder & CTO
Mike Upton is the technical backbone of Geek Heros. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mike brings the same discipline, precision, and mission-first mentality from his service to every infrastructure decision. After his service he completed Microsoft’s MSSA program, sharpening his expertise in enterprise systems and cloud architecture. Over the past decade he has built a career managing and securing IT environments at scale — overseeing thousands of client endpoints across complex organizations. He doesn’t architect solutions from a whiteboard; he builds them, monitors them, and stands behind them.
