Acceptable Use Policy
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to Geek Heros LLC's public site and resources. It also applies to hosted or managed services only where incorporated into the relevant signed agreement. Contact contact@geekheros.com about misuse or security concerns.
Lawful and respectful use
Do not use our services for unlawful activity, fraud, threats, harassment, exploitation, infringement, impersonation, or deceptive commercial claims. Do not submit material you lack rights to use or disclose another person's private information without lawful authority. Do not create fake reviews, fabricated endorsements, or misleading claims about real people or businesses.
Systems and data security
Do not introduce malware, attempt unauthorized access, steal credentials, interfere with availability, evade access controls, or collect data beyond granted permissions. Security testing requires prior written authorization. Use approved accounts and protect credentials; do not share sensitive or regulated data through general forms or unapproved tools.
Outreach and communications
No spam, unlawful marketing calls or texts, deceptive routing or subject lines, DNC evasion, fabricated consent, or interference with opt-outs is permitted. A publicly available number or quiz response does not itself provide marketing-text permission. Reps, contractors, and offshore callers acting for Geek Heros must use only Company-approved dialing, messaging, CRM, and suppression systems and follow the separate Outreach Compliance Policy.
AI and media
Do not create deceptive impersonations, unauthorized voice clones, nonconsensual intimate imagery, misleading endorsements, or media violating privacy, publicity, or IP rights. Obtain necessary permissions before using a real person's voice, image, or likeness. Clearly disclose synthetic media where required or where necessary to avoid deception. Do not upload confidential, client, or personal data into unapproved AI tools or authorize model training without the necessary rights and Company approval.
Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected abuse with enough information to locate it, but do not access or share additional private data to prove a point. We may investigate and restrict affected access or remove content where reasonably necessary to address a violation or security risk, with notice and a chance to respond where feasible. Urgent risks may require immediate action. We preserve applicable legal rights and evidence. Service termination, payment, export, and refund obligations remain governed by the signed agreement and applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy prospectively as services and risks change, with additional notice where required. Nothing here restricts protected whistleblowing, lawful reports to regulators, or other nonwaivable rights.
