How it works / Clarity before the build

A good plan.
A team in your corner.

You know the mission. We help sort out the website, the tools, and the handoff. Bring your leadership team into a process they can understand.

The mission plan

Clear steps.
No mystery operation.

01

Assess

Bring the website and your biggest bottleneck. Get practical priorities you can share with leadership.

02

Plan

Agree on the pages, workflows, responsibilities, integrations, and care your organization needs.

03

Build together

We handle the build and setup. Your team reviews the content and the steps people will actually use.

04

Launch & hand off

Test, train, document ownership, and give your next officer a clear place to start.

Know what you’re planning

Three experiences. One clear scope.

Public website

Your mission, events, joining steps, resources and contact routes.

Member experience

A place for participating members, with content and access agreed for your organization.

Officer workspace

Meeting preparation, follow-up and handoff tools built around approved roles.

Your proposal separates setup and migration from recurring hosting, support, software and optional work. It identifies your team’s content responsibilities, account ownership, training and handoff. Features and integrations are confirmed for your project.

What your assessment covers

A short plan your leadership can use.

We review your public experience and the work behind it, then provide a written summary with three practical priorities. The examples below explain the format; they are not a completed client assessment.

1 / The visitor’s next step

Where joining, contacting you or finding the next event becomes unclear.

2 / The volunteer’s work

A recurring task that needs a clearer owner, record or process.

3 / The handoff

What the next officer needs to continue the work confidently.

Bring your current website, one recurring bottleneck and the people who approve changes. We follow up by email to arrange a conversation; the request does not book a meeting.

See three priorities from our own website review

Real example: Geek Heros reviewed its own public site on October 27, 2026. These excerpts show how we turn an observation into a practical action. This is not a client testimonial or a claim of measured results.

  1. Search clarity: “Not sure where to start” was interpreted as business interest. Action: offer neutral choices and improve task matching.
  2. Request access: the kit’s branded form endpoint returned an access error. Action: verify and use the working endpoint for the same existing form.
  3. Phone readability: a proactive chat prompt covered form disclosure text. Action: remove the automatic prompt while preserving optional chat access.

A useful written assessment identifies the observation, the recommended action and what to verify next. Your priorities will reflect your organization’s actual needs.

More for your mission and your budget

More than a website.
Built to make the work easier.

Put your website, member experience, and officer tools in one clear plan. We handle the setup and teach your team how to use it. No marketing or technical experience needed to get started.

Your public website

Show who you help, why it matters, the next event, and how to visit, join, volunteer, or give.

Your member experience

Welcome and follow-up messages, national-to-local resources, social events, and small ways to help.

Your officer workspace

Clear goals, supported causes, service results, meeting decisions, reports, and who does what next.

Setup, training & care

Agreed content and data setup, testing, training, documented handoff, and defined ongoing support.

Know what is included, what it costs to start, and what it costs to keep it running. Your proposal confirms the features, setup, integrations, hosting, maintenance, and support. We keep useful existing tools where they make sense.

Leadership handoff / Illustrative example
Current officerA mission to carry forward.
Approved minutes & records
Open tasks & next owners
Documented responsibilities
Traditions & practical know-how

Experienced members stay involved.

A visual explanation. Real access changes follow your approved roles and review process.

Same mission / New hands

Change of command.
Continuity of mission.

The next officer should inherit a clear starting point, organized records, and experienced people willing to share what they know.

Experienced members keep a place at the table. New leaders get clear responsibility and room to lead. Pair them for a practical handoff: what we do, why we do it, what is still open, and who can help. Plan approved account access and bring the wisdom along with the records.

A treasure map should not be required.
A quick briefing

Good questions.
Straight answers.

No acronyms test at the end.

How do you keep it affordable?

We build around the work your organization needs and put the website, tools, setup, and support into a clear scope. Your proposal shows the starting cost and ongoing costs so your officers can plan the full budget.

Is this built for Marine Corps League detachments?

Yes, MCL detachments are our first focus. We also serve veteran nonprofits and posts or chapters across every service branch. Your organization's titles, bylaws, eligibility rules, and approval process shape the project.

Do we need to replace our national membership system?

We start with your existing tools and responsibilities. A local website and HQ can support your work alongside a national system. Any data connection or replacement must be specifically agreed; we do not assume an integration exists.

Our volunteers aren’t technical. Who helps us?

We design around the tasks your people actually do, then agree on training, editing responsibilities, handoff instructions, and ongoing support before the build.

What happens when officers change?

The plan includes named accounts, approved role changes, organized records, and handoff instructions. Access and sensitive records follow your organization’s agreed rules.

Who owns the site and our information?

Your proposal and service agreement define domain, content, data and software ownership, export options, and ongoing care. We walk through those details with your decision-makers before work begins.

Can we take the assessment to our officers or board?

Absolutely. You get a short written summary with practical priorities. Bring the people who approve the project into the next conversation, on your organization’s timetable.

Is the free assessment a commitment to buy?

No. It is a review of your website and organizational workflow, with practical next steps. You decide what, if anything, to do next.
